This month I would like to focus the spotlight on a
fantastic female singer called Jackie Lee.

Jackie performs a wide variety of material that spans
over four decades. Songs from the likes of Dusty
Springfield, Gladys Knight, and Sister Sledge, to
todays stars such as Texas, Whitney Houston, and
Emma Bunton. Jackie is incredibly versatile and can
perform show songs as well as disco and rock, all to
very high standards. I'm a big Bee Gees fan and
Jackies version of "immortality" leaves the hairs on
the back of my neck standing up. Jackie uses an
impressive Peavey P.A system, and a superb lighting
show, operated by her husband Lee. Jackie's stage presentation is second to none, she looks relaxed and confident on stage, a real entertainer. Its amazing what a good quality backing track can do for performance, Jackie's tracks are superb. Some of them are specially produced to fit into her show. Jackie has also studio recorded her own backing harmonies on some of her tracks. The result is amazing it sounds as though she has her own full band behind her. Jackie has worked with international music producers and has sang as a session singer in recording studios. Away from the stage, Jackie lives with her husband Lee and has four children. Already her daughter Sophie who is thirteen, is showing an interest in singing and dancing. Sophie attends a dance school and has already had backing tracks studio recorded specially for her.
Jackie's performance looks and sounds one hundred percent professional and I can easily understand why she is so popular at the venues she plays.
